New Factory Matchmaking 2011

Ever considered becoming an entrepreneur? Ever dreamed of starting your own business and changing the world? Come, join the team, and make it big! Our teams are looking for members, and our community is looking for something to join. We are here to match you!

When: Tue 11.10. at 16-19

Where: New Factory Stage, Väinö Linnan aukio 15, 3rd. floor

A lot of new teams have started in Protomo. They are looking for members to their teams. Over 100 students started in Demola academy in over 30 cases from prominent names from the industry. Also business professionals are looking for a new career. Our event is for all of you looking for interesting people and startups. The goal of the session is to give birth to new teams, start business, make connections, and have fun!

The event is aimed for

  • Tech talents looking for interesting positions in Protomo teams and startups
  • Protomo teams and startups looking for tech talents
  • People who consider founding their own companies 

Program

  • 15:30 - 16:00 Registration
  • 16:00 - 16:15 Welcome words by New Factory, Protomo and StartupStairs
  • 16:15 - 17:30 Pitching by Protomo teams, tech talents, startups, companies (2 mins)
  • 17:30 – 19:00 Matchmaking

Pitching is done in through random order. Language is free (English/Finnish mostly). We will give you a number and ask to come to stage when it is your time. You can either pitch your case or your expertise to the audience. We also have free tables around the stage where you can put your computer and demonstration to impress interested people. Ask for table in registration.

 Registration

  • The event is free of charge, but you need to register at http://protomo.fi/tapahtumat/new-factory-matchmaking-2011
  • When registering to the event, please mention that are you 1) looking for business 2) looking for tech talent to work in your team, and then mention also your orientation; tech, art or business oriented - and you can choose more than one.
  • If you are interested in introducing your own idea, concept or start-up at this event, please let us know it in the registration form.
  • Also tell if you need a table.
